We spent a day exploring the Mendocino area, including a casual afternoon picnic on Mackerricher Beach. So we packed up some scones, our entire stash of cookies, tea, and headed out until after sunset.
We spent our second day on our mini getaway just taking it slow. Since the weather was a little chillier, we took advantage of the fireplace in our room and the private ocean view. We bundled in blankets and enjoyed cups of tea with milk and some pastries.
