I started this blog, not knowing where it would take me, only that it’d take me a little closer on my journey figuring out what’s next for me. I hope by sharing these mini adventures of mine and tidbits of life, that you are inspired to make your every day, ordinary life a little more extraordinary too.

I’ve been spending more time on hair care since I’ve been getting balayage and babylights twice a year. I remember someone once told me that in some cultures, people tend to define themselves by their careers. We often ask someone, “What do you do?” the first time we meet. But in other parts of the world, we ask them who they are, about their family, and where they come from. My mother and I wandered the fields of rolling green in search of spring wildflowers in bloom. So as winter fades and spring brings with it new beginnings, I skip among the wildflowers, feeling free and lighter than air.
In search of inspiration, my husband and I visited the Monet exhibit at the de Young Museum a few weekends ago. A bit worn out these days, looking at Monet’s paintings gave me a sense of peace and wonder as I contemplated his complexity of pastel colors and saw the world through his lens.
