Exploring the Samuel Boardman Corridor

Sometimes it’s a beautiful thing, just simply exploring and taking in the scenery. We drove to several stops along the Samuel Boardman corridor while staying in a converted barn house loft nearby. We woke to slow mornings and chased golden hour into the late evenings every day. Two of my favorite spots were Secret Beach and the Natural Bridges.

On our way to Natural Bridges, we admired the warm glow of sunlight breaking through the fog and peering through the trees. Along the trails, we met a fellow photographer and coincidentally found we shared a lot of common interests. We also learned about a low profile car tent she had designed and created herself (and was using to camp in that night).

Secret Beach, like several Oregon beaches, had a large expanse of open sand that our dog, Yoshi thoroughly enjoyed. I loved these rocks dotted along the beach, like grand doors framing the scenery.

After several days on the road, we packed our bags and eventually made our way home. I’m glad we decided to go on this little getaway.
