Moody Hike Among the Falls

We took Yoshi on a hike at Cataract Falls a few days after the heavy rains, which left cascading falls abundantly flowing in parallel to most of the trail. The overcast skies created a perfect lightbox, creating a rather soft glow and peaceful ambiance around us.

As luck would have it, the trail wasn’t terribly busy and we often snuck into little pockets along the trail for views of the various falls.

Yoshi continues to surprise us in his ability to keep up with us. There were definitely times where it looked like he was parkouring up and down the many steps. In some cases, the top two feet would make it, while his back two legs scrambled to make purchase. Even after several miles, he still had energy to run several laps after we got home. Looking forward to spending more time hiking and playing with photography in the coming months.
