A Bit Under the Weather

IMG_0676.JPG

I've been under the weather the last few days and taking it a little easier (at times). We've been spending some evenings unwinding with our new Nintendo Switch, playing Mario Kart and Overcooked 2, which I'd highly recommend for any couples! It's a good game to see how well you work together.

I've also been learning how to paint my nails from Jinha, who's like a sister to me. We spent most of Sunday late afternoon doing our nails at home, while my husband was reupholstering our dining room chairs. We ended up painting for so long, he volunteered to pick up some dinner and fed me while my nails were drying.

We've been exploring some new restaurant spots around the city. We dropped by Kantine, which is a new Scandinavian place that recently opened. Along with one of their ginger cookies, we ordered a brunch plate where you can select an array of individual dishes. Very light, bright, and casual.

I'm doing some more experimenting with gouache painting lately. Hopefully, I'll have some to share soon once I get used to the medium!

For several afternoons and evenings now, my husband and I have been chasing Karl the fog. Whenever the weather gets really warm during the day, massive fog rolls in around sundown in San Francisco. We've been looking for good spots to view the unfurling of these massive waves of fog, crashing down into the city.

It's back to bed for now for some recovery time!
