Fall Finds for the Warm, Fuzzy, & Cozy

Thanksgiving is just a few hours away and Christmas is coming up around the corner. I love the months September to December because it's the time for bundling up in blankets, cozy sweaters, scarves, mulled spices, and chai. It's a time for family gatherings, good friends, and food. The leaves are changing colors and the air becomes crisp. And then it all flows into Christmas decorations, cheesy holiday movies, picking out a tree, warmth, and good cheer until the New Year.

Bundling Up

Here are a few finds before Black Friday comes around. Some sales have started already!

Scents for the Home

Fall Pumpkin Chai Candle by Magnolia Market
I'm usually not a huge candle fan, but when we stopped by Magnolia Market a few weeks ago, it was hard to leave without getting one. It smells just what I'd imagine fall to be. Not overly strong and not quite like your pumpkin spice latte. Just enough. A little pricey, but it also lasts quite a while. My guilty splurge in Texas.

Holiday Mulling Spices, Tea, and Cookies

Williams Sonoma Mulling Spice Sachets
This is great for those who want to enjoy spiced apple cider, but also on the go. Williams Sonoma makes these tea sachet mulling spices you can steep with hot water. It's even better in hot apple juice (recommend Martinelli's). We've taken this on a few camping trips as well. Highly recommend. If you have the time, they also sell mulling spices to make from scratch as well.

Fortnum & Mason Christmas Biscuits
I literally almost finished an entire tin box of these. We had some visitors from the UK today and they made my day by bringing these cookies. Fortnum & Mason is a famous tea brand in the UK who also happens to make some yummy biscuits (aka cookies here). Amazon and Williams Sonoma (in stores) sells some, but Fortnum & Mason doesn't have any stores in the US (yet!). They pair perfectly with any cup of tea, which I've been doing for the entirety of today.

The Coffee Bean Winter Dream Tea
I found this drink randomly at the Coffee Bean several years ago. It smells like the holidays. You can order it as "Winter Dream Tea Latte". Only recently did I find out you can actually buy the ingredients to make it at home too! You can also buy their French Deluxe Vanilla Powder (makes a difference!). If you don't have a steamer, steep the tea first, then add vanilla powder. Once it's fully mixed in, then add a little milk. No sugar needed. The vanilla powder is sweet on its own. If you do have a steamer though, just add frothed milk instead.

Zombie Runner Chai Mix
I can honestly say, I have traveled to several places in the world and have tried a lot of chai. This mix is the best I've found that you can buy. Zombie Runner is actually a running store, but they have a very highly rated coffee shop in the back as well. This chai mix is something they created from scratch and started commercializing the mix due to popularity & demand. My only recommendation is to only use half the spice serving they list on the instructions. Otherwise, it's too spicy in my opinion.

Enjoy and hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!
